I am sorry that you have not been hearing form me lately. I have had out of town company and been busy with taking my daughter to doctors appointments. She had a bad accident with her horse back from in Sept. She had closed head injury and we have been seeing many doctors and physical therapists to set up her rehabilitation schedule. This has been a very frustrating process and her insurance has denied her speech therapy. UGH!!!!! So now we are back to waiting and she has still not received any help that she needs. Very, Very frustrating. I think that I will just have to set up my own form of therapy to help her. I hope to be back soon. I know that God will help us through this. He is always faithful.
I want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Christ is Born
I cased Becca Feeken's card "My Glory". This card was made for a Flourishes Challenge. We were supposed to case one of Becca Feeken's cards and make some changes. This is what I came up with. I changed the colors and made my own designer paper. The stamps are from "Christ is Born" and Holy Triptych". I used Swarovski Crystal Rhinestones and a thinner ribbon that I wrapped around the main image twice. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.
Here is Becca's Card:

Bathing Bella
When I saw this DP I knew that it would be great in Bella's bathroom. I think I smiled the whole time that I created this card. I used foil to create Bella's mirror and used Nestibalities and Swarovski Crystal Rhinestones for it's frame. I cut a piece of Green Galore for the rug and ran it through my Xyron and covered it with Green Flocking so it would be soft for Miss Bella's feet. :)

Autumn Birthday
I made this using the Hanna Stamps challenge HSC41. I know that I didn't use Hanna Stamps but I liked the layout so much that I wanted to make my sister's birthday card using it. I hope she likes it. The challenge was to use paper peiceing, designer paper in certain places and the layout. Thanks for looking.

Oh Night Devine, OCCC
When I first saw this set I knew just what I wanted to create. I stamped the images on pieces of vellum with Stazon Black. I colored the images on the back of the vellum with Prisma Color Pencils blending the colors for a soft look. To make the frames I stamped the frame image on six pieces of Always Artichoke and three pieces of chipboard.I stamped the background with Weathered BG from Stampin Up. and stamped the frame with Black Craft and embossed with clear EP.
Cutting these out and have all the cuts match up was the tricky part. I used an Exacto Knife, it took patience but I did it. Whew! I used Sticky Tape to hold it all together and placed the hinges on the back of the Always Artichoke through the chipboard so that the arms of the brads open at the front side of the chipboard. I then covered them with the Artichoke stamped with the Weathered stamp, that way you will cover the brad arms so they don't show on the front of your work. After it is all put together I added Stickles to the front of the vellum. It looks beautiful with a Tea light behind it. It took a long time to make but it was worth it. I hope you like it. Thanks for visiting.

Harvest Blessings
All stamps and paper are form Papertrey Inc. This is a very classy company. Everything about them is well done. The stamps are beautiful and the cardstock and designer paper is the best quality as well as the inks and ribbon.
I used Nestabilities (so much fun) on this card. The background is done with the Linen background stamp and I stamped the leaf in Summer Sunrise on top. I rock n rolled the pineapple with Really Rust and Ruby Red and the leaves with Old Olive and Always Artichoke.
I hope you like it.

Honey, did you put the hotdogs away?
I couldn't resist. This little coon is so sneaky and he looks like he got his hand caught in the cookie jar. This is so like a raccoon to do something like this. When the kids were younger we raised baby coons. A mama coon was taken away and her three little ones were left behind and we just couldn't leave them to fend for themselves so we took care of them until they were ready to be on their own. They were so much fun and the kids learned so much being with them.
I always wanted this "Happy Camper" stamp set and finally bought it when it went on the retired list. Well, then I saw "Rocky Raccoon" from Whipper Snapper stamps and knew that they had to be together. I think I smiled the whole time I was creating this card. It is for my husband. He is such a sweetheart. He always encourages me in my art and I wanted him to know how much I appreciate him. He really liked it.
I masked the little trailer then sponged the sky and ground in and then stamped the trees. Rocky Raccoon is poped up and so is the hotdog. The man is from "Loads of Love Accessories". I used Prismacolor pencils, Copic Markers, Copic Glitter Pens, and ink pads to color the images. I hope that you like it.

Riley's Man Room
I just love Riley. He makes me smile and when a stamp makes me smile well, lets just say that I have many Rileys now. (hee hee) O.K. I think I had way too much fun with my "Coffee Riley".
Here's what I'm thinking. Sophie was so proud of her Riley that she had his first rainbow trout mounted. Riley, after a long day on the lake is relaxing with a cup of Joe and one of Sophie's famous cupcakes. He is such a lucky "mooseman" to have a sweet" moosis" like her.
Riley is from Hanna Stamps and the rest of the stamps are from Stampin'Up!. I used the tole technique for this card, and of course I had to add a little bling on top of the cupcake. Even Riley appreciates sparkles! I hope you like it.

My Favorite Fishing Spot
My man inspired this card. He is an avid outdoors man and loves to be in God's creation. I just love the Thomas Kincade stamps form Cornish Heritage Farms. They are wonderful to color. Here I used Shimmering Pebbles Chalks and Pearl Ex Powders to paint the image. With Stazon Ink I stamped the image on the front of a piece of a window sheet. Then I ran it through my Xyron face up so the sticky is on the back of the window sheet. I worked on the sticky side and applied the chalks and powders. It was a challenge but I was very pleased with how it turned out. Thanks so much for looking. Please visit again.

Autumn Smiles
Here is another fun card. I used Cool Cat, Carved and Candlelit, Flannel background stamp, Be Happy and various words All from Stampin' Up! I created the background by stamping Autumn Leaf Prints first and then layering Flannel background on top. The cat is masked. I used Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, So Saffron and Whisper White.
Happy Haunting
