Apple Harvest

Hi everyone! So good to see you today. I wanted to share this beautiful set from Flourishes Stamps. It is called 'Apple of My Eye' and you can find it here. What an awesome stamp company, they have such beautiful images. Please check them out if you haven't yet.

Here is a shot of the main image which is from the Flourishes stamp set 'Apple of My Eye'. I stamped the apple image on Georgia Pacific White paper and then used my Copic Markers to color with: O, W0, W1,W3, E41, E43, R0000, R000, R12, R21, R27,
R29, R89, Yg0000, G12, G20, G21, G28. I know, I use a lot of colors when I color but I just can't help it. I used Label's Ten Nestability from Spellbinders and sponged around the image while it was still in the die with Destressed Ink Antique Linen. I added Book Corners form Bonnie's Best.

Here is a close up of the easel base. I used an image form 'Vintage Picnic' stamp set form Papertrey Ink. You can find the set here. I just love this set because it can be used for so many occasions. The word apple is form the Flourishes set ' Apple of My Eye'. I went over the letters with a clear glaze pen. I stamped the smaller apple form 'Apple of My Eye' on polyshrink with Black Stazon ink and colored it with Stampin' Write Markers, then shrunk it with my embossing gun. The Ribbon is 'Pure Poppy' from Papertrey Ink and the little white apple blossom buttons are from my button stash. I had to add some bling so I glued several Red Swarovski crystals across the top to hold the main image from slipping forward when standing.

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Apple of My Eye from Flourishes and Vintage Picnic from Papertrey Ink.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Distressed Ink Antique Linen.
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Georgia Pacific White, My Mind's Eye Designer Paper.
Accessories: Copic Markers, Pure Poppy Ribbon from Papertrey Ink. Swarovski Crystals, Polyshrink, Stampin Dimensionals, Spellbinders Label's Ten Nestability, Book Corners from Bonnie's Best, Buttons from stash.

Thank you so much for visiting today and taking the time to leave a comment. Have a wonderful day.

Blessings,

Deb

I would never have put those colors together but they compliment each other so well. Makes me want to use them for a Christmas card! Much better than the traditional red and green!
