January Calendar

I wanted to make a special calendar this year and it took me a while to decide which images that I wanted to use. Then I remembered that I have these beautiful Fairies form Michelle Perkett Studio, and that was it. What better way to welcome the New Year than with Michelle's Enchanted Slumber Fairy. Isn't she lovely? I thought that I should post my January Calendar before the month is over. :)
This wonderful frame is from Taylored Expressions. I am not sure whether I want to stain it of paint it, so for now it is bare wood. It works so well for my calendar.

I cut the main color, Baja Breeze at 8 1/"2 x 6" and scored the top at 7" and added eyelets to make the top edge stronger for the binder rings and then I just started creating.
The calendars are from Papertrey Ink. I used Calendar Basics stamp set which is good for eleven years :) and the Coordinating Pre-Printed Mini Calendar pages.

Card Recipe:
Stamp: Enchanted Slumber Fairy Digi Stamp and Pre-Printed Mini Calendar Pages
Ink: Antique Linen
Paper: Baja Breeze, Georgia Pacific White and Fairy Flora designer paper from Prima Marketing Inc.
Accessories: Copic Markers, Spica Glitter Pens, Start Dust Gelly Roll Pen, Swarovski Crystal Rhinestones. Gold Satin and Pink Taffeta ribbon. Fiskars border punch and Fairy Tale paper roses. Stampin Dimensionals.

Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you day is filled with joy and blessings.

Christmas Friendship

Good Wednesday everyone. I want to share another Michelle Perkett digi stamp. I just love her work. Todays image is called 'Holly the Christmas Friendship Fairy'. You can find her and many other beauties here at Michelle's Etsy store.

I printed the image on Georgia Pacific White paper and colored it with my Copic Markers. 0,C0,C1, E41, E43, E44, E47, Yg91, G20, G21, BG0000, BG000, Bg02, R0000, R000, R00, RV21, RV19 and sponged around the edge with Bashful Blue. I added Polar White Flower Soft to her dress and used Dazzeling Diamonds on the branches. The flowers were hilighted with a StarDust gel pen. She is layered on Brushed Silver and poped up on Cherry Cobbler which I punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. I then added some silvery blue ribbon and layered that on a beautiful designer paper from Dream Street called Wonderland. That is layered on Soft Sky and more Cherry Cobbler. All of that is layered onto a Soft Sky card. Of course there had to be more bling (Ya know Christmas and all.) so I added Clear Swarovski Crystals to finish.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Holly, the Christmas Friendship Fairy from Michelle Perkette
Ink: Printer Ink
Paper: Georgia Pacific White, Cherry Cobbler, Brushed Silver, Soft Sky and Wonderland designer paper.
Accessories: Copic Markers, Silvery Blue ribbon, Polar White Flower Soft, Dazzeling Diamonds, Swarovski Crystals, Martha Stewart Border punch, Ticket Corner Punch, Stampin Dimensionals.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I love hearing from you so please leave a comment if you would like. Have a wonderful day.

In Heaven's Arms

Good morning everyone. My card today is for a very dear friend who just lost her precious baby. I wanted a special image and found this wonderful Digi stamp from Michelle Perkett Studio. Michelle is a very talented artist who truly captures a mama's heart with this beauiful piece called 'Enchanted Slumber'.
I colored this image with Copic Markers: E0000, E00, E01, E41, E43, E44, E47, E50, E51, G12, G94, Boooo, B21, B23, Yoo, Wo, W1, O. I used Spica clear to add sparkle on her dress which you cannot see in the photo but in real life it adds a soft shimmer. A Gelly Roll Clear Star pen was used on the moon, her crown and their wings. This pen really adds a wonderful sparkle. I added Clear Swarovski Crystal to the flowers in the background. A Fiskars border punch was used to punch the design in the Brushed Silver paper. The image is layered on Marina Mist and Sage Shadow. This wonderful designer paper is from TPC Studio's Mediterranean Summer collection and is called 'Mirage'.

Love you Erin.

Thank you for stopping by today. Please leave a comment, I love hearing from you.
Have a blessed day.
