Christmas Blessings

Hello everyone. Hope your day is a good one.
I am trying to decide what I want to do for my Christmas cards and this is in the running. I am having a hard time picking one so I may make a few different cards.

For this card I used a beautiful images from Stampin' Up! called Bells and Boughs and the sentiment is from Star Studded Season.
The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Markers: YR23, YR24, YR31, G20, G21, G24, R43, R46, R89. I sponged the image with Distressed Ink Antique Linen while it was still in the Classic Circle Nestability and layered it on Brushed Gold and Cherry Cobbler. The designer paper is Basic Grey Holly Berries.
I wanted to add some sparkle so I layered that on some Metallic Gold ribbon from Michaels and layered that on Garden Green and punched the bottom edge with Martha Stewart's Holly border punch. For some texture I embossed the Cherry Cobbler with a Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder.
I stamped the sentiment directly on the designer paper and added a bit more sparkle with a Gold Spica Glitter Pen and some Swarovski Crystals.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Bells and Boughs, Star Studded Season
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Antique Linen
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Brushed Gold,Georgia Pacific White and Holly Berries designer paper.
Accessories: Copic markers, Classic Circle Nestablilties, Metallic Gold Ribbon, Snowflake embossing folder, Swarovski Crystals, Holly border punch, Spica Glitter Pens.

It means so much to me that you've taken the time to visit today.

The jar was cut out with the matching Jar die from Papertrey Ink then stamped with the snowman image ( just love him). I layered that on designer paper by Graphic 45 from their Christmas Past Collection and Real red. I embossed Whitewash Core'denations paper with my Snowflake Cuttle folder and lightly sanded it and punched out the bottom edge with my Martha Stewart Snowflake border punch and layered on Blue Bayou.

Autumn Gifts

Good morning everyone. I went to this wonderful store in our area (Arnie's Arts and Crafts please check out their site.) and found this beautiful stamp by Penny Black called 'Autumn Gifts'. Well, actually I didn't find it, it jumped into my basket, and what can you do when a stamp does that. NOTHING!!! I agree. So it had to come home with me. :) Sorry I got carried away.
I seem to have found another favorite color. I love Cherry Cobbler as you can probably tell as of late. It is such a great color for fall and winter! I have had this beautiful designer paper from Basic Grey called Cranberry Sauce for a long time. It is from the Wassail collection and even though it is a Christmas paper I thought that it worked great for this image.
I stamped my image on Georgia Pacific White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Copic Markers. I'm sorry but I don't have the list of colors for you. I used so many different markers it would have filled the page by itself. I layered that on Cherry Cobbler and poped it up with Stampin Dimensionals. I embossed the More Mustard layer with Swiss Dots embossing folder and punched the bottom edge with the leaf border punch from Fiskars. I adhered that onto the designer paper and layered that on more Cherry Cobbler. The corners are book corners from Bonnies Best, they have such awesome embellishments. I added some Summer Sunrise ribbon from Papertrey Ink and then layered everything onto the More Mustard card base.

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Autumn Gifts (Penny Black) from Arnie's Arts and Crafts
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Distressed Ink Antique Linen
Paper: More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, GPW and Basic Grey designer paper
Accessories: Copic Markers, More Mustard Brads, Ticket Corner punch, Fiskars border punch, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, Summer Sunrise ribbon, Book Corners and Stampin Dinensionals.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I love hearing from you so please leave a comment if you would like. Have a wonderful day.

Apple Harvest

Hi everyone! So good to see you today. I wanted to share this beautiful set from Flourishes Stamps. It is called 'Apple of My Eye' and you can find it here. What an awesome stamp company, they have such beautiful images. Please check them out if you haven't yet.

Here is a shot of the main image which is from the Flourishes stamp set 'Apple of My Eye'. I stamped the apple image on Georgia Pacific White paper and then used my Copic Markers to color with: O, W0, W1,W3, E41, E43, R0000, R000, R12, R21, R27,
R29, R89, Yg0000, G12, G20, G21, G28. I know, I use a lot of colors when I color but I just can't help it. I used Label's Ten Nestability from Spellbinders and sponged around the image while it was still in the die with Destressed Ink Antique Linen. I added Book Corners form Bonnie's Best.

Here is a close up of the easel base. I used an image form 'Vintage Picnic' stamp set form Papertrey Ink. You can find the set here. I just love this set because it can be used for so many occasions. The word apple is form the Flourishes set ' Apple of My Eye'. I went over the letters with a clear glaze pen. I stamped the smaller apple form 'Apple of My Eye' on polyshrink with Black Stazon ink and colored it with Stampin' Write Markers, then shrunk it with my embossing gun. The Ribbon is 'Pure Poppy' from Papertrey Ink and the little white apple blossom buttons are from my button stash. I had to add some bling so I glued several Red Swarovski crystals across the top to hold the main image from slipping forward when standing.

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Apple of My Eye from Flourishes and Vintage Picnic from Papertrey Ink.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Distressed Ink Antique Linen.
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Georgia Pacific White, My Mind's Eye Designer Paper.
Accessories: Copic Markers, Pure Poppy Ribbon from Papertrey Ink. Swarovski Crystals, Polyshrink, Stampin Dimensionals, Spellbinders Label's Ten Nestability, Book Corners from Bonnie's Best, Buttons from stash.

For the two strips, I used Cherry Cobbler card stock and My Mind's Eye 'When I Grow Up' designer paper and layered 1/8" red ribbon on top of gold ribbon. I added some Red Swarovski Crystals on the berries and sponged around the image while it was still in the Classic Circle Nestability with Distressed Ink Antique Linen and layered that on top of a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock that was cut with a Scallop Circle Nestability. The edge of the green designer paper was punched with Martha Stewart's 'Holly' border punch.
