Because I Care

Happy Monday!
I must be feeling purple today. I used "Because I Care" stamp set from Stampin Up. Concord Crush and Pear Pizazz card stock and an old designer paper from SU. I gathered the ribbon by threading a small strip of Concord Crush card stock through the openings and adhered it to the designer paper with Sticky Strip tape. The designer paper is punched with the "Scallop Trim Border" punch. The background is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder only on the one side. I trimmed it with a paper flower and some of the lace ribbon topped with a button and used a Martha Stewart punch for the greenery. Spellbinders Labels Eleven Nestabilities were used to layer the flower and Long Rectangle Nestabilities were used for the sentiment.
The pearls are form Kaisercraft.

I love this color combination. I am using Concord Crush and Pear Pizazz card stock. My image is from Sweet' N Sassy Stamps "June Rose". It is one of my favorite stamps I think because it is so classic. I colored with Copic Markers and sponged the background of the image while it was still in the Nestabilities die with Distress Ink "Antique Linen". The designer paper is a retired paper from Stampin UP, the punch is EK Success.

Thank you for visiting today and taking the time to leave a comment.

Hi everyone. I created this for the Sweet N Sassy "Think School" sketch. I don't have any school stamps from them yet so I used my Rileys from Riley and Company Online. I used Copic Markers, Gelly Roll Clear Glaze Pen and Spica Glitter Pens to color my image and I sponged with Distressed Ink Antique Linen while it was still in the Nestabilities. Riley and Sophie are layered on Riding Hood Red and Night of Navy. The designer paper is "Making the Grade" by Reminisce. I added Night of Navy Ribbon and some tiny buttons form my collection. I hope you like it.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I do appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Have a wonderful day.

Precious Pup

Good Friday Morning! Here is a card using Sweet N Sassy Stamps. This little set is called "Woof You" Their stamps are so much fun to color with my Copic Markers. I sponged the background of the image with Going Gray while it was still in the Nestabilities. I like the white boarder it gives. The buttons are old buttons that I have collected over the years and I used Rustic Cream Button Twine from Papertrey Ink. The edge punch is "Puppy Paws" from EK Success. I layered that and the puppy image on blue mirror paper. I cannot remember what the designer paper is, I just had a scrap left over and thought it would work well with the colors of the little dog. I added a silver dog bone charm to Bashful Blue grosgrain ribbon. I hope you like it.

Vintage Rose

Happy Tuesday morning! This card is made with Sweet N Sassy stamps, June Rose. These stamps are wonderful to color which is one of my favorite things to do. I sprayed the background of the image with Smooch Spritz Vanilla Shimmer. It added such a nice touch but doesn't show up in the picture :( My ribbon is form Walmart. It's called Antiquity Lace by Offray and is hard to find. I found it in the fabric dept. I didn't have any narrow Rose Red ribbon so I just cut a strip of card stock to weaved through the ribbon. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the Maxine designer paper and of course had to add some pearls and Swarovski Crystals. I colored the rose with Copic markers, RV0000, RV000, R81, R85, R89, G20, G99, YG91, YG93 YG95 and Spica Clear Glitter Pen.
